Dumaguete, Oh yeah!

I have a very exciting summer. Travel after travel after travel is fun but trying lolz.

Quarter to 8 am when we arrived in Dumaguete Airport, we rushed to Ceres terminal because we need to follow the itinerary that one of my blogger friend in Dumaguete (Grah) prepared for us.

First place to visit in Dumaguete is the Balinsasayaw twin lake. Traveling time from Ceres terminal to the entrance of  Balinsasayaw twin lake is approximately 20 minutes and then you need to ride a habal habal for 45 minutes from the entrance to Balinsasayaw.

As we travel to Balinsasayaw, we are so mesmerized as we look at the sea. The water is so clear.

When we got off the bus, I feel a little weird, it seems I feel so light. There is something wrong. It took me 5 minutes to figure out what was missing. Because I'm a little pre-occupied due to lack of sleep (had 3 hours of sleep since the days before our trip, we celebrate our friend's birthday), I found out that I left my bag in the bus.

I called the terminal and reported that I left my bag on the bus when we got off Balinsasayaw. The personnel told me to call them at 2 pm to check if they already recovered my bag.

I guess I have no choice, I have to wait and if they did not recover it, its over lolz.

Off we go to the twin lake, we rode a habal habal. The driver of the motorcycle said that we are heading to the top of one of the mountain (I wasn't able to take picture since my I'm holding my companion's sling bag).

After 30 minutes of going up and down, after going to a smooth and rough road we finally reach the registration. I though we're already there because there is a nearby lake. The registration personnel told me that we need to reach the peak of the mountain.

When we reached the the place, it was heaven. Fresh air, nice view this place was good place to relax.

What we can see is only a part of the twin lake, if you wish to see the other side of it, you need to ride a bangka (250 per hour good for 7 person).

The place it self is enough for us and we decided to stay on the first lake.

I dipped my feet in the water and I was surprised when the fishes start showing up and start eating the dead skin on my feet. Wow! Instant fish foot spa for free.

We stayed there for a couple of hours. It's nearly noon time when we decided to have something for lunch (what they ate when we are on our way to the lake is not enough for them lolz).

Our motorcycle is the first one to arrived on the Balinsasayaw entrance. I immediately called Ceres to confirmed if they already have my bag. Answered prayer! The personnel told me to just go to the terminal and get it.

We went to the terminal and claim my bag and take our lunch in Qyosko. Qyosko is a somewhat like fast food restaurant. They serve cheap food but hey, the quality of the food was not compromised. I ordered for a hawaian chicken burger. The taste is good and the serving is big for a cheap price.

After taking our lunch we check out Rizal Boulevard and we stumble upon this place.

Our eye sparkle as we cam across the famous silvana house. So far this is the cake bistro that I have encounter that offer the most cheap cake but you will never get disappointed on how it taste. I ordered for a traditional batirol, a piece of silvana and a slice of Concorde cake.

Concorde cake is some what chocolate-mocha type of cake that is covered with lady's finger. We enjoy eating a lot until we realized that we need to hurry if we don't want to spend a night in Dumaguete. As soon as we reached the port to Siquijor we bought a ticket and bid goodbye to Dumaguete.
