Pinto Arts Museum: Instagramable Museum

Time Check: 10:00 pm

Hello, travel pips! Hope everyone was able to discover new places to relax and hang out last year.

I was so busy last year (as always) that I was not able to update any of my pages. The work I had really is exhausting, sleeping and eating were the best things I did during my rest day.

I'll start sharing the things I discovered last year (also in my next post).

Let's start with Pinto Arts Museum.

I'm not really good when it comes to arts but, I just love going to the galleries, exhibits, and the like if I can (well, especially if it will not cost me anything). The museum is 1.2 hectares, one of the biggest and most spacious museums I've been to and the most instagramable one.

It houses 6 galleries plus a very close to nature (for me) as tall trees, bamboo, and plants cover most of its buildings. The places showcase contemporary, native, and emerging local arts. From paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, erotic, music name it they have it.

I really love the ambiance of the place as it feels like you are exploring a garden full of artwork. If you get tired and want to rest a bit, they have beds and pillows anywhere in the place plus the benches in the big galleries are topped with thick foam so you rest comfortably (you can actually lie down). The museum also has its own restaurant in case you want to eat (I was not able to check this one since I was busy checking the galleries).

How to go to Pinto?

From Cubao take an LRT and alight at Antipolo Station, then from there go to SM Masinag and ride an e-jeep to Antipolo Cathedral, ride a tricycle, and ask the driver to drop you off at Pinto Art's Museum. The entrance fee is 250 (discounts are provided to students, PWD, and senior citizens).

Hope you enjoy my new Rixcovery ☺. Until next time
