Mt. Kulis Adventure

Time Check: 4:11pm

My Gosh! It's been 5 years since I last posted an adventure in my blog. I really had a rough time doing work plus hello pandemic.

At some point the Ph government decided to loosen the restriction to somehow bring the dying economy get back on its feet and one of those industry was the tourism that is why, I took advantage of it and look for a nice place to visit.

I've been in Tanay, Rizal for a quick tour however, I want to go back again and wanted to witness sea of clouds again. So after setting a joiner tour with my brother we pack our stuff and set off to check mother nature's beauty.

Our meet up point is on Cubao, Q.C at 1am. we arrived early so we decided to buy coffee and something to eat.

We set off to Tanay at around 1:30am, I'm a little drowsy so I decided to take a power nap so that I have enough energy later.

It's past 4 am when we arrived on the starting point. While waiting for our tour guide, we are preparing our stuff. 4:30am and we started the briefing, we are told what to expect, the do's and don'ts and the interesting stuff about Mt. Kulis.

Mt. Kulis was used as a setting in the going series of ABA CBN's FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. This is the setting where the actor Lito Lapid and his crew was hiding and where he was killed. This is what the tour guide told us.

I love the smell of the fresh grass and watch them as they dance with the wind, listening to the sound of the crickets and while looking at the peaceful view of place.

Since it was a minor hike we reached the first peak after the 35 minutes of walk. It was an achievement for me considering that I'm not a mountain climber the only thing I know is social climbing I enjoy the scenery and even did a tiktok challenge lol.

The route is easy according to my brother and he even encourage me to join mountaineering activities. Little did he know that it was actually in my bucket list. After 40 minutes of enjoying the view and taking pictures, we move to the next peak.

The place was also amazing and they even put attractions to make your picture very memorable.

After this we set off to the waiting area in one of the highlight of the tour, the Noah's Arc. It took us about 20 minutes before we received a go signal that we can now go to the place. The place was really amazing, not only that you can almost touch the sea of clouds, the spot has a lot of place and angle to take a good picture for Instagram.

this is how near the sea of cloud is

This was below the bridge going to the arc

After having 40 minutes (which is supposed to be 30 minutes only) Noah's arc experience, we went down the mountain to have our lunch and go to the next part of our activity.

After a quick meal at the foot of the mountain, we waited for the 4x4 jeep that will bring us to our next destination, the hanging bridge. It was a 20 minutes ride. If you're still up for an adventure you can do a 45 minutes walk to reach the hanging bridge.

I think I saw a similar bridge like this somewhere in Bataan and in Cavite which make me want to check them out, hmmmmm another place and adventure to put on my bucket list. After the adventure we then go to the next and the final destination on our trip, swimming! Yep you read it right. We are going to dip in the cold man-made spring water pool.

Good thing we decided to pack our things earlier and I was convinced by my brother to take the 4x4 because if not, we are going home soaking wet. As soon as we arrived the starting point rain drops started to fall it took about an hour and a half before the rain stop. My brother took this opportunity to share his experience in mountaineering as he already joined mountain climbing adventure twice before Covid-19 stroke.

This is one of my travel adventure that is memorable as I did not expect that my brother will accompany me in this trip..

Budget for the trip including the food is P1,500 pesos that is why Mt. Kulis trip is...

Hope you enjoy my new Rixcovery ☺. Until next time *winx*
